Note from the PTA President

On behalf of Pepper Tree Elementary PTA, I would like to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year. I hope you all had a refreshing summer. As PTA President, I am privileged to be working with a committed and passionate group of Officers and Committee Chairs. Together, we look forward to the working partnership with our amazing administration, dedicated teachers and invaluable staff.

The PTA is a volunteer Parent-Teacher group that is committed to supporting our school and enhancing the quality of the educational experience for all Pepper Tree students. Some of our goals include coordinating volunteer participation to assist school programs; hosting activities that encourage family involvement; raising funds to supplement needed services and equipment; and supporting the school administration in its goals.

We have organized many activities this year that provides enrichment beyond what is in the regular curriculum such as a STEM assembly, a Dragon Dance assembly, Science Fair, Book Fair and Spelling Bee. We organize community-building events like the Talent Show, Art Day, Family Reading Night, Movie Night, Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad. In addition to these activities and many more, we also fund the music program, grade level field trips, and technology support to empower teachers with the necessary instructional tools to help our children grow and succeed.

I encourage you to support PTA’s fundraising efforts throughout the year, so that we may continue to provide these wonderful enrichment experiences for the kids. Please join us at the PTA association meetings. We invite you to become involved and to make Pepper Tree an even better place for all students. Whether you choose to lead a committee, assist in the classroom, or simply send in supplies for a classroom activity, your help is important and appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support. Looking forward to seeing you around campus!
